Cant use points to get res but they'll take cash- WHY?

Okay, I'm confused. OKW is all member inventory- right? Yet I can't get a studio there for points, but when I check online to get a regular cash ressie I can get a studio. If the whole resort is member inventory then why can I pay cash but not points to get a room?

I'm very frustarted as we want to go this month (very short notice, I know) and I don't see why if there is room availability why I can't use my points. I feel like I'm being penalized for being DVC!!


Can someone explain what this is all about?
