In my state EVERYTHING has a sticker price tag on it. If the price on the sticker is lower than what is advertised, the store MUST honor it. Today at Target (I was only running it to use my $1 off 2 bags of jellybean skittles - ended up paying $.13 each and use my $8 worth of coupons off of Bop-it). A lady called me over in the games aisle and pointed out the sticker on them. $24.99 games that were stickered for $2.49!!!!!:cool1:

I got Taboo, Would You Rather... and Cranium all for $2.49 each!!! That is a 90% savings. When the manager approved it at the register she was nice about it and congratulated me an getting a great deal This is why I will love Target and will keep shopping there!!

Ohh, not only that but if a store charges you the wrong price (higher amount), the store has to give it to you for free up to $10!!

I'm not sure if you catch it at the cashier if you can get the item free (or $10 off) so I don't comment but go straight to customer service afterwards.

I'm in Ontario, Canada so I don't know if it applies in the states or which ones. But the lowest ticketed price the OP talked about applies here as well.

Publix does that too. I went there to get my mom flowers. They were ticketed at $9.99 but rang up as $13.99. I didn't know the policy so I just asked to have them adjust the price to $9.99. The manager came over, looked at the ticket, and said "Ok. Enjoy your flowers. Have a good day." It was a nice suprise!

Michigan is up to $5 or it used to be when I was there last. Kentucky sucks and does not do this nor are they required to have the items individually tagged. I wish they did especially with K-mart as they have been awful about overcharging.
