Hello! We are due to get married at Sea Breeze Point at 12pm on 29th July 2010 and are just looking at options for having a meal later on that afternoon before we head off to our Dessert Party at Epcot. There will be 19 of us in total and we're trying to find somewhere that can offer us more of a private dining experience. We're not looking for a really fancy meal, but then again we do want something that would help make the day special.........
I think Wolfgang Pucks can offer private dining and their menu looks like it fits what we need. Has anyone else used this restaurant or any other suggestions for where we could try??
Thanks in advance!

Raglan Road has a room called the music room which you can rent out, Rainforest Cafe also has space....

Your planner can also arrange a private lunch for you thats what we are doing :thumbsup2
Some other ideas:
Portobello at DTD
The Wave (they can create a private area, I dont know the costs though)
The Swan and Dolphin also has rooms - you can book through their private dining department
Hope this helps!

We're most likely going to the Garden Grove at the Swan. We had brunch there on our last trip and it's just beautiful! Plenty of space and I hear it isn't usually took crowded, so it will feel slightly private.

We had our reception at the St. James Room at Boardwalk Convention Center. Before I knew about this as an option, I was picturing a restauarant reception. I found out lots of restaurants wouldnt seat a larger (16 in our case) party after a certain hour which limited us. The St. James Room turned out to be perfect for us, we had our cake cutting and first dance in the shade. It was close to SBP, and it wasn't a bustling restaurant. It was really reasonably priced too- and they let me take the dessert off the menu bc we were having cake. The food was amazing. PM me if you want more info.

You can talk to your consultant or planner about a priviate dining event then you could consider this as one of your options. I am having one at the Whitehall Room, others have used the Key West Ballroom and the St James Ballroom. If you don't have the Passporters Weddings and Honeymoon guide I would highly recomend you get a copy to help you with all the options available. http://www.passporter.com/weddings.asp
Here is the link to photos and info about the Key West Ballroom.

Some other posts and websites have pictures of the Whitehall and St James locations.
I have had my birthday at Wolfgang Pucks in the upstairs dining room - it was not a private event but it was lovely and we had a good time.
