CBR CM asked me if I wanted to change...

I just called to put my deposits down on my 12/14-12/19 CBR reservation and my 12/19-12/23 reservation at WL. Before I could go any further in my conversation, the CM said that they had just been advised that CBR will be closed during that time for renovations and would I like to book another resort. (Since that is such a while away yet), I kindly said no, i would keep my current reservation and just make the deposit. Now we're talking 12/14. I was under the impression that they were trying to be open by Dec. 1, but she gave me the impression they were trying to move every one during that month also. What do you guys think of that?? I'll wait for them to contact me. The way I figure it, I'm still going to be there, whether it's CBR or somewhere else. They've got to put me somewhere. Plus I was hoping that the closer it got to my time, they might just give me the WL for the whole time. That would be ok by me too!!! ;)

I think they said that they'll have it open by the holiday season, which doesn't start until later in December. I'm not sure of the dates, but it may be possible that it will be open for some of the days you intended to stay there but not all.

My ressie is for CBR Dec. 11-14 and I don't think there's going to be a problem of keeping it. Have talked to CMs over the past 2 days trying to get a code discount (even as a new ressie) and no one has brought up the fact that I'd have to change resorts. If I were you, I'd sit tight because I don't think you'll have a problem!! :smooth:
