Who's your favorite American Idol candidate?

Mine is Kelly. She's got an awesome voice, cute girl next door looks and just seems very genuine and down to earth. Who's your favorite and why?

i hate justin though -- he acts like a lounge singer or someone out of the brady bunch musical group. :p

I used to like Justin (not that I really dislike him now), but I just think he got a little to big for his britches. I have a feeling, though, that Tamyra (sp?) might win.

I like Kelly's voice, but I really like Christina's whole look. She's very exotic. Tamyrah has a great voice, but I find her to be boring while performing.

I'm indifferent to the guys. (which is rare!)

Tamyra, hands down. :) I liked her from the very first time the finalists performed and I think she is in a class by herself vocally. And she has the right look. I hope she wins. :)

I'm pulling for Tamyra or Kelly... Really like those two and when Kelly hit that high note in Natural Woman, just reminded me of a fave singer of mine. ;)

I thought Justin was a great singer, but I agree that his ego has just swelled beyond belief and that apology last week felt so scripted and fake...

I agree that Justin's ego is getting a bit big, but he has an awesome voice. As for the girls, its between Tamyra & Kelly. Both have awesome voices.

Well, it looks like RJ may be taking a hike tonight. I really like Nikki, but I think her days are numbered, too. Kelly and Tamyrah were both awesome tonight! I think it'll come do to those two. Whaddaya think?

I really like Kelly! She has the voice and she has that innocent look...I thought she did great tonight. Tamyra is good too but I'm rooting for Kelly.

I like both Tamyra and Kelly. I'm sick of the love affair that Simon is having with Christina. :rolleyes: Justin..well he does need some growing up to do, plus I got dizzy watching his hair flop around last night. While RJ did not do a good job, neither did Nikki, and I for one hope that it is Nikki who is voted off tonight. Either way Nikki and RJ are the next two who will be gone.

I think RJ will be gone this week and Nikki next week. Regardless of who wins this competition, the final 4 will all have a shot of stardom I think with this kind of exposure.
Tamyra is awesome, but Kelly so nailed it last night. I was disappointed in Christina. Great voice but her clothes were all wrong. Tamyra and Kelly got the hair AND clothes right. Justin surprised me, with his hair, I wasn't sure he could pass off the look for that era, but he did. These are all terrific kids and I am happy to see them have an opportunity like this!

My vote is for Kelly. She has na awesome voice and did a great job last night. I think Paula hot the nail on the head when she said she sees Kelly as a triple threat. She is beautiful, extremly talented and has her head on her shoulders. I think she has a strong voice that is going to carry her all the way to stardom. I love Justin! Except that his ego has gotten WAY too big. I also really like Kelly...she has a beautiful voice and she always seems very confident.

I think Kelly has a top-tier voice, but I think Tamyra might win. The market is ripe for either of them, they'll both get signed. There may be an advantage to being first runner up. The contract for the winner is very restrictive, but the first runner up can argue her own terms with whichever record company she pleases.

Nikki reminds me of Pink, both Christina and Ryan Starr would be better off modeling, and I think RJ could have a big future in Christian Music.
