Hi Guys,
We are visiting the fort for the 1st time in two weeks! SO excited-Anyway, can you clearly view the Wishes fireworks from the beach at The Fort? If so, is the music piped in? TIA

We have watched the Wishes fireworks show many times and love watching it there. The only thing you can't see is the lower ones that are right behind the castle. Yes they do turn on the Wishes music.

Frank,
We must have been there about the same time. I saw somebody fishing in a floppy Gilligan hat. Was that you? We were in Loop 500 and you could have fished from our patio. The ducks sure enjoyed it.:fish:
Thanks so much for the info DISers! Love, Love, Love the pictures :) Frank, I am a fellow Tennessean!

It is my favorite place to watch them from! Also love to see the Electric Water Pageant from the beach.
What exactly is the Electric Water Parade? Does it occur each evening and if so, what time? Thanks, Amy

It is a parade of barges have lights and play music that runs nightly. It goes by resorts and is usually in front of Ft. Wilderness dock at 9:45pm. Good pictures and explanation at http://allears.net/tp/ewp.htm

You'll love the water pageant! It's a WDW tradition, going back to the 70's. I remember it from when I was a little girl. I'm 41 now and I still love it! It's one of the few WDW originals that's still around. It's a very nostalgic barge parade w/images in lights and music. If my memory serves me correctly, it is around 9:45 pm. (Not sure if it's at the same time year round.) We love to enjoy the pageant and Wishes from the beach as often as possible during our stay at the Fort. Have an AWESOME vacation! I'm excited for you!!!!! :goodvibes
BTW.......:welcome:

just go to the beach a bit early before the fireworks and enjoy.....
try to stay a little bit over toward the boat dock if you can....the view will be a bit better....if you get too far over to the right side of the beach at the fort..the view will be a tiny bit restricted...
have fun :thumbsup2

Of course, catch it at the MK at least once. But we always go out to the FW beach at night the rest of the time, when possible, to catch the fireworks. It is like the perfect ending to a perfect day.
