On another topic; does anyone have any suggestions on how to put ointment in a 7 year olds eye without a fight? She is in much pain from her surgery and fights us on the ointment.

The UPS man just dropped off 2 packages at my door. In one was "New York Cookbook: From Pelham Bay to Park Ave, Firehouses to Four-Star Restaurants" and in the other package was a dvd of "On the Town" starring Frank Sinatra and Gene Kelly. I can't wait to read the cookbook and to watch the movie. I love old movies and this one I received is an excellent one!

I received Carmine's Family-style Cookbook. Carmine's is a Time Square Restaurant and Missy say it is one of her favorite NYC restaurants. She even informed me of her favorite recipe---Country style rigatoni, so I will have to try that. Maybe, I will try it in May when I am visiting my daughter and her family. Thank you--the cookbooks look fantastic, and I always seem to lose my measuring spoons, so it's nice to have some more. And I've always wanted the chop & scoop so that will come in handy--in fact, I'll be using it tonight when I chop some veggies. Thanks Johnie!

I received mine today....from Texas, from Mad4Mickey (took quite awhile for priority)

I got a cookbook from her OBGYN's office called "Bun in the Oven Cookbook".
And also "1 Dough, 100 Cookies" cookbook.
Can't wait to read them and find some new recipes to try.

Mishell also included her DH's favorite rub.
Her DS's favorite salsa and her DSIL's favorite cheese dip.
I will save them and take them to AZ with us and share them with the family.

I cannot believe that they are being delivered on different days. Several years ago while at WDW I sent postcards to alot of my granddaughters friends (most families had 2-3 kids). All cards were sent on the same day, but arrived from 1-5 days apart. :confused3 Never did that again. I actually put them in envelopes now and send them to each family.:thumbsup2
