Hello everyone :yay:
This is my second PTR - but the first I have done for a DLRP trip.
I've just finished up a TR for my first WDW trip last October, (if you haven't checked it out and fancy a fun read of the best two weeks of my life, the links in my signature!)
A little bit about me - my names Izzie, I'm 21, and I'm going to be graduating from university this summer, and hoping to get my first full time job soon! Just like any normal 21 year old, I enjoy spending my time having fun with my friends. I also love sushi, penguins, shopping, South Park and Disney (much more on that to come!). I have lived with my boyfriend, Scott, for nearly 2 years now and he is the best friend / boyfriend a girl could wish for :lovestruc
So my 'Disney' story - I went to DLRP with my parents when I was about 8, I don't remember too much of it - just remember meeting Pluto, being part of the Hunchback of Notre Dam parade and being REALLY scared of the dragon under the castle! And of course just having a great time!
Fast Forward 10 years and I meet Scott, and within 4 months of meeting we decide to go on an impromtu trip to DLRP (2007)! At this point I was fairly clueless of all things Disney, but was just looking forward to my first holiday away from my family! :lmao: We went September - so luckily no planning etc didnt mean too much, because besides from Crush's Coaster - everything was walk on! It was this trip that really got us hooked on theme parks - and Disney!

We spent 2008 visiting Thorpe Park and Alton Towers - and decided we just REALLY needed to visit WDW!
So for my 21st we were going to WDW, with Scotts Sister and BIL! I turned into the major planning machine, and the Disney bug was well and truely caught before we were even on our way to Florida. Obviously it was just the best 2 weeks ever being there, and I don't quite know if I can imagine a holiday in the near future with no Mickey!

Luckily - Scott loves Disney too so is happy to go along for the ride and let me make the plans :lmao:
Anyway I reckon thats the introductions out of the way so whats the plan!?!
This year with me being busy at uni til May - and Scott is back at college over summer we are super busy but have decided we can squeeze in a 3 night trip to DLRP.
We don't have a date set yet - as scotts work is unpredictable so we have to hold back and wait for that - but we're planning September - and hoping to travel on a monday and come home Thursday to avoid weekend crows.
obviously not booking in advance we are missing the 40% off deals :sad2: but who knows maybe some sort of last minute thing will come up - worst comes to worst we are not TOTALLY against staying offsite - our last trip we stayed at the Explorers which was amazing and I would recommend - but I think I would like to see what else there is, and as we have not stayed 'onsite' before I really want to!!
Hopefully - Toy Story Playland will be all up and running by September!! Huge Toy Story fans here so that will be great to experience!
Also - coming with us this trip will be my mum and stepdad. I think they want to see what all the fuss is about that I wont shut up about :rotfl2:
I pretty much have provisional plans so far being
Accomodation
Hotel Cheyenne, if affordable. If we somehow come into quite a bit of money - Id love to stay at New York hotel.
Travel
Flying - depending on prices fly from Aberdeen - CDG with Air France, but if this is too expensive - will drive to Edinburgh or Glasgow for Easyjet.
Day 1
Travel / Check in to hotel - explore Disney Village and go to Buffalo Bills Dinner Show.
Day 2
Disneyland Park - Just have fun with the attractions,
lunch - Pizza Planet.
Evening - me and scott want to go for a meal at California Grill, with some cocktails in DLH just the two of us.
Mum and Stepdad will probs go to Planet Hollywood.
Day 3
Disney Studios - again with the attractions, probably do all the Toy Story Playland things first.
lunch - undecided, maybe just a snack and have the latest lunch seating for Walts (as I imagine park will close early enough that a late dinner is out of the question)
Spend rest of evening in shops in the village.
Day 4
Maybe have breakfast at Cafe Mickeys, and then go round a couple of more attractions in the parks before going home.
