We are traveling to Quebec City later this month for a school trip. :cool1:

When we fly to Orlando I usually pre-order some sodas, snacks, water, etc and have it delivered to our hotel. I would like to do the same thing on this trip if possible as we will have hungry teens who will without a doubt want snacks.

Is there a grocery service or a store that will deliver to our hotel?

Thanks for any advice.

Penny

What hotel are you staying in? Sometimes the hotel in near a super market and it's easier and cheaper to go by yourself:goodvibes

I agree, it would be much cheaper to just go to the supermarket.

However, IGA, a major supermarket chain, does offer online ordering and home delivery in many parts of the province. There's a CA$35.00 minimum order, and a CA$0.35 charge per paper or plastic bag used.

You can access their online ordering system here:

http://magasin.iga.net/ (En français. An English-language version is available by clicking on the button in the upper-right hand corner)

You can also visit a Dépanneur, small convenience stores that are ubiquitous throughout Quebec and sell things like snacks and drinks. Many of those stores also offer home delivery, but you would need to call them (which would require you to know the number in advance), and, particularly outside Montreal, they're not guaranteed to speak or understand English.
