How quickly can you find out what is unusual about this paragraph? It looks so ordinary that you would think that nothing was wrong with it at all and, in fact, nothing is. But it is unusual. Why? If you study it and think about it you may find out, but I am not going to assist you in any way. You must do it without coaching. No doubt, if you work at it for long, it will dawn on you. Who knows? Go to work and try your skill. Par is about half an hour.

Good morning fellow riddlers! Sorry I was so late with getting back to the afternoon crew yesterday. I teach on Monday evenings, so I was gone from 1:30 until 10:00. I think I caught up with all the pants though.

Been busy here - dad finally was released from the hospital late Sunday evening - he is still in pain and looks about as bad as he did when we took him in on Monday

Off soon to do that lets go see what clothes we do or don't like for school - we spent time Sunday looking at the ads with Kara going yuck, oh yuck, no way - nope - geesh - this should be an interesting day:p

THanks for the pants, Mickey! Now I can take Duffy for a walk in style! It seems like it has been FOREVER since I did a dog walk! It has just been way too hot and humid for that. Today it actually feels brisk! May even be too brisk for those smarty shorts!

I get to dog walk the next few days too. I am house and puppy sitting for some friends....I can't wait..they have an indoor pool! I love it!

Gee, Mickey! How far are you from Minnesota? I will soon be losing my long time dog/house sitter! She has been married for a couple years now, and is planning on a pregnancy VERY soon. She said October will probably be her last time! I tentatively have her scheduled for our January WDW trip, but she wouldn't give me a for sure on that one until October. I hate waiting so long to schedule a dog sitter. It always makes me nervous that I wont find one! Our kennel is VERY easy to take care of. It is really set up for easy maintainance.

BTW, I finally got the animal control guy to pick up the kitty from my front porch. He was a beautiful young cat and very friendly. I assumed he was dropped off by someone, because he didn't have a collar, but he might have been a house cat who escaped. At any rate, he was very hungary and ate every morsel of dog food I gave him. When the animal control guy arrived, I had kitty in the grooming room. We opened the door and he escaped into the garage, but came to me right away, and I just picked him up and put him in the cage. I hope they find a good home for him. I will call in a few days to check. If they can't find a home for him, my vet will take him. She usually takes strays and makes clinic cats out of them until she finds a home for them.

I can't believe they wouldn't find this one a home. He is young, but I think needs to be nuetered yet. Perhaps that is why he was "out and about"!;) He is going to be large when he is conpletely grown! He was awfully thin now, so he may have been out awhile. He has the structure and voice of a siamese, but the color of an orange and white tabby.

Good morning everyone!

DD is finally home from her last week of camp. I think I spent half the summer talking her to and from camps. Now she is at SAT prep class. The summer is coming to a close. I am not ready for school to begin. This last week was Drum Major camp and she was very enthusiastic. Said it was "the best thing I have ever done."

Weather here has finally changed. I turned off the AC today to give the electric bill a break.

We'll be off in a little while to find DS's locker and find out if the school has the high school schedules ready yet -- since school starts tomorrow.:rolleyes: He's not looking forward to getting up earlier tomorrow. Middle and high schools share the same buses; middle school started last year at 8:50, and high schools start at 7:25.

Carol, Duffy is doing great now that we found out what the problem was. He carries the same bacterium in his gut that people who have duodinal ulcers have. We have him on long term antibiotic and tagamet treatment.

Good afternoon all! I'm late today because we got to have a treat. I discovered the other day that a small town about 1 hour away has a place that sells Beaver Tails, so we figured that we'd drive over for the day and enjoy one along with a walk through a nice town and a barbque by the water. On the whole, a very pleasant way to spend the day!
