Hi
I have just started planning the wedding, but was wondering if anyone can suggest wedding reception venues/ ideas for between 15 and 20 people. I have looked through Carries PAssporters guide but wondered what others people could suggest?

I am having my reception at the Venetian Room at the Caribe Royal. its about 20 mins away, but has a very italian/Mediterranean feel and very subtle and elegant. the staricase is lovely and the food is to die for! it fits us perfectly :D

A lot of people on here had their smallish receptions in the Whitehall Room at the Grand Floridian.

I don't have Carrie's book handy, so I don't know if it's in there...but I had my reception at bluezoo in the Dolphin. If you have 15 people or under, the minimum is $1200.

I personally chose it as the reception location because to me it needed very little decor as the entire restaurant is very modern, so all I did was move the ceremony floral to the table. I also had chocolate place cards. In hindsight maybe I would have had some colored napkins or a table runner. But overall, it was an easy choice for me.

PrincessShea I love your pictures so much, it was because of your pictures that we are considering bluezoo. Thanks for your opinion xx

Another vote for the Whitehall Room. I think the minimums are just the F&B minimums. So it depends on what time you'll be having your reception.

well we are having around 16ish people and as we are having a DP the new requirement has changed our plans slightly. We are currently looking at St James' room or the patio! Its really close to our SBP ceremony and means there isn't too much back and forth as the DP will be in Epcot!

I think dressing it will be a challenge but I'm sure with a little clever thinking we could sort something out!

I am having mine in July at the Whitehall Room in the Grand Floridian for 15 people there is also the Key West room. I think Chilly used the Key West room so if you look for her PJ or TR I beleive you can see some pictures.
