Does anyone out there think there will be any "spin-off" shows of Friends after this last season?
I know it's a lot to hope for, but ya never know. They did it with Cheers.
I think it would be cool if they did a Monica and Chandler spin off show of the two of them moving out of the city and moving to Connecticut or something. Joey would of course be living above the garage.:D
What are your thoughts?

I hadn't really thought of that, but that could be cool if done right and some of the actors wanted to continue on. :)

Wow, I'd never thought of that.. it would be totally funny. :)Probably wouldn't happen though. It seems to me like all the actors want to leave.

I agree that I don't think any of the actors would want to do it. Being in a long-running series can start to be damaging to your career after a while, since people start to think you can only act like that character.

I don't see it happening either. Every time one of the Friends is interviewed and asked about why this will be their last season they all say the same thing: Tired of it. If there is a spin-off, it will probably be a couple of years after it ends.

I always wondered why as soon as an actor gets a successful part they seem to want to leave it. I would milk it for all it's worth! It could be their first and last.

No kidding Kallison!
It's kinda like Steve from Blues Clues, come on, like we can really see Steve in any other sort of dramatic role or anything like that. Everytime I see his face, I start singing, "we just got a letter"
Or even Alex from Trading Spaces, what is she doing now???
And yes they have all been in other movies, but none of the movies were SENSATIONAL! They were all good movies, but no Forest Gump Winning Films. I would think that at least one of them should think about it. And I would think Matt LeBlanc should highly consider it being his track record with films.
But then again, there would be no "Forrest Gump Winning Films" had Tom Hanks settled in and stayed with "Bosom Buddies" either.
Only time will tell...

Yeah, I don't think I'd want to see a spin-off, but how about a reunion showing where they are at, say, in 5 or 10 years?

I think they might be a spin-off. Wasn't there talk of a spin-off for Joey? SIGH, dunno what I'll do when Friends is off the air though. :)

I already own the complete First Season and then the other 2 sets of the like Top 20 Friends or whatever! What to do after this season is beyond me.
And Yes I am obsessed with the show. :D
