Disney doesn't provide officiants but they give you a list of ones that have worked previous Disney weddings.

I booked Rev. Kevin Knox. His website was lovely and he has several videos posted of weddings he's done.

I don't know if it is different for Escape and Wishes brides but for Escape brides, if you do not use one of the officiants on the list, they are counted as one of your guests.

I'd suggest you read through trip reports and vendor reviews from previous brides, that will give you some idea of how each officiant is to work with, their styles, likes and dislikes etc. Some are more flexible than others on how much variation from their standard ceremony, some will make a big to-do over the bride and call her princess, that type of thing.

I'd also check out their websites, and review videos. And not just the videos on their own websites. I spent some time looking over the stvs sneakpeaks and videos to narrow down who would work well with our style and who wouldn't.

I couldn't pick so I got my planner Amy to pick for me. She narrowed down to her top 3, but I pressed her further and she said based on what she knows about me and what I am looking for I'd be best off with Rev. Jack Day. She said he's fantastic, funny, and sweet. So that's who we went with. I have spoken to him over the phone, he seems very sweet, and his ceremony choices are great...it helped me to write my own custom ceremony that I am thrilled with!

I LOVED Rev. Jack Day!!! He's the cutest man I have ever seen! All of my guests and DH loved him too. I highly highly recommend him.
