Has anybody spent a day in Celebration?

Are there any good restaurants?

Can you look at the model homes?

Would like to spend an afternoon there this trip and was wondering is its worth the time and effort?

Thanks,

Hi...Celebration is quite a place....sort of a total model city invisioned by Disney folks....My guess is some people love it and some people think it is total schmaltz and reeking of too much americana...personally, I think it is beautiful...there are some resaurtants in the little downtown area as well as ice cream stores and sort of a turn of the century look...I am sure there are plenty of realtors that would show you homes...I don't remember a "model home" but there are lots of condos and apartments that are open daily...I think the architecture of the homes is beautiful and you can drive up and down the streets just looking..you might catch an Open House on a weekend for sale....Enjoy.....Ted

Celebration is a great place to visit.

Of course you can go round models. There are several restaurants. The Market Street Cafe and Cafe d'Antonio's are our favorites. There is also a Columbia Restaurant, ice cream parlor, hotel coffee shop and various other shops, not to mention a cinema/movie theater.

Great place. Enjoy!

We spent New Years eve and New years day in Celebration Hospital, does that count?
It was very nice (as far as hospitals go) and quite busy.:D
