well i thought i would start this thread and see what happens so here goes im 38 yrs old male never been to wdw going solo for the first time ever to wdw may 1st to the 7th staying at pop was wondering if anybody would like to have a park buddy around that time. just wondering if i get no response i guess i will just go and enjoy it all solo well take care everybody.:goodvibes:cool1:

Its too bad that your dates don't coincide with our relatively large May DISmeet of singles, solos, and those who have connected with other DISsers and now are together. We are getting together for our annual meet on May 13 through the 17th. Some extend the trip but those are the core dates. If you cannot change your dates then I suggest changing the title of your thread to something like "going solo May 1 - 7. Anyone else?" People who skim the threads might stop in. I do know there are some going the first week in May. . .not sure if they have anything organized yet.

I'm in the "senior" age group as well, and will be staying at Port Orleans French Quarter May 2-6. I've been to Disneyworld many times, but this will be my first solo trip, so I'd love to meet up with any of you. And I've never been to Jellyrolls either, so that also sounds good to me. Let me know details as they unfold, and hope to see you there!

There are a bunch of us meeting at the Tequila Bar in Mexico at noon on the 5th. Don't know how many are solo, but at least two.

OMG, ok so Im getting reallly excited.....I get to Orlando late sunday night the 26th, hitting Universal first on Monday then to Disney on Tuesday the 27th, leaving May 6th!
I'm really getting excited, did I mention that already? And weather looks super sunny!!!!!

Hi everyone. I will be in the world around 8:30 pm on Friday April 30th and am thinking about checking out Jelly Rolls Friday night and possibly again on Saturday night. I'm driving up from work Friday evening and Im staying at All Star Sports.

Saturday May 1st- Disney Hollywood Studios going to try to make it there by EMH Rope drop (8am), depending on how much I get done I might park hop over to Epcot.

Sunday May 2nd- Animal Kingdom

If anyone is going to be around any of these places and wants to meet up that would be great! This is my 1st solo and I am kinda nervous about it but excited all at the same time! I still have 2 days left on my FL residents 4 day park pass and they expire end of May and I didn't want them to go to waste and no one else wanted to come back up to Disney so soon. We were up there twice in January on the 1st and then again on the 29th so I guess everyone is Disney'd out but not me!
