Magic Kingdom Portrait Sessions

I'm playing with a few ideas in the realm of a Disney Wedding and am having trouble making things fit in my budget.

I'm brand new to all this so please forgive me if it seems like a silly question but I didn't really know who else to ask.

Is it possible to pay for a Magic Kingdom Portrait session without having to go through with one of their official wedding packages?

You can do a MK portrait session without using their photography services for your wedding. I believe it is $1200. I'm planning on doing the portrait session, but hopefully hiring an outside photographer for my wedding.

The only people who can have a MK Bridal session are couples who have had a DFTW.

You can have portrait sessions at other parks in your Bridal gear but the MK bridal session is only for DFTW brides/grooms. :)

Maybe I misunderstood... if you use an outside photographer for your DFTW you can still have the MK shoot with Disney Photography services. But ou must have a DFTW wedding.
