View Full Version : I was just in the most awkward situation!

My landlord is renting the garden apartment, and she couldn't show it to someone tonight, so I had to. I didn't know what to do, so I just walked them in and kind of let them look around.

It was a couple, probably around my age.
First they asked if there was a washer/dryer, I said no, but a laundrymat isn't too far away. They started arguing about that.(swearing at each other and stuff)

Then they started arguing (loudly) about if the one bedroom was too small.

Now the guy seemed to like it, so then the girl shouts "you only want to rent this place 'cause she (me) lives here! Do you think you are gonna sleep with her? (although not in those nice terms)
and she storms out. I have never seen these people before.
I didn't know what to do and my face was burning!!! He mumbled something and left, and I called the landlord and suggested not renting to them!

How embarassing for all of us, huh?:p

Oh boy, aren't you glad they probably won't be moving in. Sheesh, you would think that while looking for a place to live you'd act respectable.?

Sounds like they should get two appartments on opposite sides of town! :eek:

I think your landlord owes you a free month of rent for that one!

I don't think I would want them as my neighbors. Sounds like trouble makers and very rude at that!

Oh my! That is just really to strange. I think that couple ought to break up, although they sound like they'd be strange people even on their own.

Sounds like she was having a bad day!

A VERY VERY VERY VERY BAD DAY!!!!!

Hope she doesn't have too many of those....and NO MORE within 2 miles of you!;)

Just another view point: One of my landlords (long time ago) was sexually assaulted while showing a rental house. Please be careful.
