Southwest/Jet Blue Flight Prices History

I have noticed that prices have fluctuated a couple of times while we have been deciding on our dates. Finally decided to go, went to book yesterday and prices had gone up since Friday. Do you think they will go back down midweek again, or should I go ahead and book. (They were 74 one way, and have gone up to 104, which is a good chunk when it is multiplied by 8) Or do you think they could go up? (So it's better to book before they go up again). We are traveling April 27th, so only 3 weeks away. :confused3Thanks!

I'd suggest waiting till Wednesday or so and see what happens. You never know, but I don't think you're losing anything by waiting. It may be your gain!

WE FLY JET BLUE AND SOUTHWEST ALL THE TIME OUT OF BUFFALO. WE JUST BOOKED OUR SEPT FLIGHTS ON JET BLUE. I LOOKED 2 WEEKS AGO AND THEY WERE 69 DOLLARS ONE WAY. SO I WAITED A COUPLE OF DAYS, MY MISTAKE. BOTH JET BLUE AND SOUTHWEST WENT UP TO 109 SAME FLIGHT.
BUT IF PRICE COMES DOWN BETWEEN NOW AND SEPT JET BLUE TOLD ME WE WOULD GET THE DIFFERENCE IN FLIGHT CREDIT WHICH IS GOOD FOR US SINCE WE USE THEM A LOT. YOU SAID YOUR GOING IN APRIL AND YOU HAVENT BOOKED YET, I CANT IMAGINE THEM COMING DOWN UNLESS YOU GET A LAST MINUTE DEAL.
WE USUALLY TRY FOR DIRECT FLIGHT FIRST ITS USUALLY THE CHEAPEST AND OFCOURSE GETS YOU THERE FASTER. WE LIKE JET BLUE OVER SOUTHWEST. MORE LEG ROOM AND TV SCREENS AT EVERY SEAT. BETTER COFFEE:rotfl2:

Once a flight goes up, it seldom ever goes back down especially when the flight is getting near. :confused3
