never having been on a cruise should i choose a 3 , 4 or 7 day
cruise. i have been to disney many times therefore do not need
to see it again for a while so i will just cruise this time.

and what level room?? i am thinking a room with a veranda
is best. is it worth the extra money?

How many in your room?

Is budget a major concern?

A suggestion: (at least this is what we went through to decide)

- Decide on number of days that you would like. Suggest you look into 4 or 7 days.

- Will be spending time on the veranda? If you have children that naps that will be a good place to relax. We spent most of out time on deck or in the movies

- Do you need to see the water? For us, it was a yes and we ended with a CAT 9

- Budget... ahh the money portion?? How much do you want to spend on the room vs the "other stuff" , you know the spa, wine, etc....

- Time of the year that you are planning to go... that will hit your budget easily.

Hope this helps!!! Check out these link if you have not yet!!

Another thing on budget . . .determine when you want to go, and then check the weeks around that date, as well. We saved quite a bit of money by cruising on the 9/7/02 cruise, as opposed to before or after that cruise. I think there is some nervousness about 9/11, but for us, it was a no-brainer. The price was right.

On your first cruise, you may feel, "What can I do on a boat for 7 days?" Trust us. You will wish it was 70 days, rather than 7, before it is over.

If you can go when the kids are in school and have no problem pulling your kids out for the week, then you'll be able to do a 7 night in your budget.

As far as the verandah, I ran a poll a few weeks ago, I'll bump it up so you can read it.
