Single, you cant stay here

I was trying to make a booking for a weekend break this week and was told that the resort does not take bookings from single people (or same sex groups)! Does anyone know about any campaign groups in the UK who might be interested in this.. I have found a group in the US but all my google searches for the UK take me to dating sites!

There are couples resorts. I'm guessing you were trying to stay at one of those. :confused3

Anyway I suspect it's within their rights to only allow couples since I've seen those resorts advertised all of the time.

Not sure where you are trying to book, but as previous poster mentioned there are resorts called "Couples & Sandals". Only couples can book there and Sandals is what they call "traditional couples only". (maybe someday they'll get on with the times)

You'll likely find that alot places require double occupancy anyway so if you are a single traveler you may have to pay for two.
