Reception booked through Disney Meetings?

We are having second thoughts about our wedding reception location, and really liked the St. James Room at the Boardwalk. We are not doing our ceremony through Disney because we have more than 23 guests. Is it my imagination or did I read somewhere that I can book a private reception through Disney Meetings? I do not have access to Carrie's ebook from this computer. Does anyone know if we can just have the reception at the Boardwalk after a Swan and Dolphin ceremony?

What does "wedding style reception" mean?

We are also looking for a reception site for our S/D wedding, but we are not planning on having a DJ or dancing or anything. I may also want to change out of my wedding dress and into a simpler dress for the reception.

Would this count as a "wedding style reception?"

You may be OK if you're not doing a DJ, dancing, having a wedding cake or wearing your dress. But if they think you're trying to have a wedding without paying for a DFTW, you may run into problems.

Thank you. Hmm...this might not be a worthwhile option for me....we are not interested n a DJ, dancing, & I can do without wearing the dress, but we would be heading there shortly after the S/D ceremony so the workers will know that we had a wedding. I don't want to have to be sneaky or lie to Disney. Oh well, we'll find an alternative venue I guess!
