I agree, even in the dark times a bright light will shine thru.
Doug says he is a Lions fan and I am hoping in his lifetime they have a wining season :worship:

I have a soft spot in my heart for anyone who faces challenges in putting together their family. I hope this all works out for you. The excitement in your DW's face says it all. I'll be pulling for you! :goodvibes

That is so true. The first thing I asked Douglas was " do you like to get your picture taken?"

It's funny, but my kids all run when they see me get the camera out. But when I go to school with the camera, all the other kids run up and ask me to take their photos. I'm sure Douglas will enjoy all the photo taking, and really appreciate all the love and attention. Lucky you, lucky DW and lucky Douglas!

Your post brought me out of 'lurk-dom' to say 'fan-tab-u-lous'!!!
I love the 'lifetime of photo op' comment too.
May the remaining part of the adoption process move swiftly for you so daily you can enjoy the wonderful smiles your wife and Douglas have on their faces.

What a beautiful child! Hoping he is home with you soon!
Wow! All I can say is thanks for reminding me of what is really IMPORTANT! It's funny how we can get so caught up in all that is day to day life and forget things like family and our love for each other.
I will pray that the adoption process moves along with no hang ups and that you guys can get on with your lives and grow the family bond.
PS.....that is an awesome smile on that young man! He will surely give the 'ole camera a good work out! :yay:
But......I'm not sure about the Lions!!! :rotfl2:

:lmao: This is just like my son and DH. I get the camera out and they run away or put their hands up in front of their face! :confused3 Bummer...That's why I tend to take photos of things and not the people in them. :sad2:
