As a Starbucks gold card holder, I occasionally (OK – I’m bombarded with them) receive emails from Starbucks about new promotions.

Today, I received an intriguing but mysterious announcement. According to the email, I should expect “Starbucks to announce a bold new partnership with a major theme park in Florida.” The announcement provides no details but promises more information will be forthcoming “soon.”

Now, I know this won’t excite Pete (“burnt coffee”) Werner but I can't stop thinking that this means no more Nescafe!!!!

The possibilities are endless. The Land (which, after all, is no longer sponsored by Nestle) could take caffeine addicts like me on a “behind the burnt coffee beans” tour. If Starbucks stays true to form with how it opens new stores, by April 1, 2011, E-ticket will show a frappachino stand in every land, country, world, street and continent. (If you thought McDonalds saturated WDW, just wait until you see what Starbucks can do.)

Perhaps Dole Whips will be served in tall, grande and venti sizes.

you got me. Starbucks and April fools go back a ways.

I wish it were true but when Pete went on a rant about that "burnt coffee", I couldn't resist.

Ha ! I swear I am the only person who looks forward to the Disney coffee. I am a coffee junkie but for some reason I really like it there. Maybe it's because nothing beats waking up at the best place in the world - so really I guess if you gave me anything there I would be happy !

I am ready to get rid of the Koma-Coffee aka NesCrape' aka Swill-in-a-cup aka brown water aka Lake Water....

FYI - Starbucks at the Swan and Dolphin (and you can buy the refillable mug and use is 24x7 at Picabu)

I love mocha frappacino's. I still have to validate spending $4.55 for a grande almost daily :scared1:

:lmao: That was the first thing I thought when I read this! :lmao:

After reading some other April Fool's threads, I am very leary today of all "out there" threads. :surfweb:

I am not supposed to have too much milk in my diet, so I can only go with a tall (with whipped cream! ;))

However I did a currentcy conversion, my tall cost me £3, which is $4.58!! You get significantly more frappacino for your money!!! :headache:

I'm not completely without sensitivity. I wrote a much better one about Disney allowing segways but tossed it because Skip would have throttled me.

I love getting mine with whipped cream. It's a special treat when they add some choc syrup on that! My mouth is watering now. Must have Starbucks(in the a.m.)

I would love to see a "Disney-fied" Starbucks on property to replace Nescrapfe. As long as the theming differs from every other Starbucks on earth, then I highly, highly approve. :thumbsup2
