Gift Card

We will be receiving the $500 gift card when we check into POR in June. What exactly can that gift card be used on? We are on the QSDP, but have a breakfast scheduled at Chef Mickeys. Can the card be used there? What about Planet Hollywood or T-Rex? We're just trying to plan out how much "extra" cash we will need to have available.

From what I understand the card can be used at CHef Mickeys, but I'm not sure about PH or T rex. You can use the card to buy things at almost all of the gift shops. I think you can even go to one of the photo kiosk before you leave and buy your photo pass photos with it.

Why don't you just charge everything to the room and then use the gift card to apply to your room charges. We do this all the time and that way you don't need to keep track of exactly how much is on the card.

Oh that's a great idea! I hadn't thought of that and think that would make the most sense. Can you KTTW be used at PH or TRex? Are you also able to charge the Photopass pictures to the KTTW?

You can use it at PH because they take the DDP. TRex does not so I'm not sure if you can use your KTTW card. You can definitely charge your PP pics. Anything for sale in the actual parks can be charged back to the room. Downtown Disney is iffy depending on who owns what.
