Nancy-
I've never heard of the Uncle Wiggly game. Can you fill me in?

Candyland, Chutes and Ladders, Monopoly, The Game of Life, Stratego, Risk, and finally Wizard's Quest (pretty much in that order as I grew up).
Wizard's Quest is one of those Avalon Hill "bookshelf" board games. I bought dozens of them when I was in my 20's, but Wizard's Quest was the only one that I played regularly. A few buddies would drop by and we'd drink rum and coke and play this game for hours. I guess it was our version of poker night.
When the videogame craze hit, I put away all my board games and that was the end of that. One video game that was reminiscent of board games was M.U.L.E. My friends and I spent hours playing the Atari version of that game. Ah, those were the days.

When I was a kid we had this game called Green Ghosts. I don't think we ever learned to play it, but the pieces glowed in the dark which was really cool back then. We also had a game called Peanut Butter and Jelly where you collected quarters or halves of pieces of peanut butter, jelly, and bread and you had to be the first to make a sandwich. Oh, the memories.;)

I was a game with that rabbit, Uncle wiggily, and I think there was a path he had to follow. I think my mom had probably gotten it at a tag sale, because I remember it being old. I must have been playing around the early 70's, so it may be much older than that. Sorry thats all I can really remember, except that I liked it:D

One of my favorites was a Disney game called "A Visit to Walt Disney World"!! I loved this game. The board was based on Magic Kingdom, and had all the lands listed, as well as the Ice Cream Shop, Haunted Mansion, and Tea Cup Ride. You could be either Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, Dasiy, or Pluto. Your goal was to visit every land, and to "ride" the monorail three times, and get back to the entrance first! What a cool game! Every DISer should have this! We played our game so much that it fell apart and my parents threw it out. Thanks to Ebay, I have a new one. :)
I also liked Life, BattleShip, The Stock Market Game, Clue, Monopoly, Ting-A-Ling Bingo, and Candyland. :)
