Might be a stupid question, but if you get the paper tickets, can you exchange them at the resort at check in to have your room key and park tickets on the same card? Did I make any sense with that?

It's been previously posted that PH passes can be added to room keys but not all CM know how to do it. Ask when you check in, if they can't help you (and it matters to you) ask them to check with someone else.

Hi all,

This too was my question. I called the Animal Kingdom Lodge directly and spoke to a CM who informed me that only tickets bought at the resort can be added on to our room keys.

Oh, and the AP voucher is a card and becomes paper when you activate it. This one cannot be added to your room key.

I wish the AP's were plastic. My was pretty well trashed after our first trip!

I've had paper tickets (bought at my local Disney store) converted and added to my room key in the past. Don't know if the practise is still done, though.

I see. Ok, thank you for all your help. I will just ask at check in. I just dont want to carry around a room key and a ticket. :(

I guess Im being too picky.:o

if you do have them put on your key, do when you first check in. We tried to add them later in the day (DH changed his mind) and you would not believe the trouble we had.
Enjoy!

I've been told that even the CMs who know how to do this, don't really like to do it because it can take quite a while. IIRC, they actually have to return/credit your PHP tickets and then "sell" you new ones to put on the room keys. Be prepared to be told no if there are a lot of people behind you waiting for service from the front desk.
