Hello there DIS board members! I've been lurking around here for a while, and as I have come up with some questions for trip in the planning stage, I thought it was about time I joined. I'm a bit younger than a lot of the members I see here (19, graduating from High School in May), but I have been a huge fan of Disney for as long as I can remember, and I'm very excited to be joining this board. I've already gotten some great tips lurking, and you have some very fascinating threads (I love the one about long forgotten attractions.)

I am a Hoosier as well, from the southern part of the state.

Welcome to the DIS boards where you will find more information than even a Disneyaholic could possibly want.

I can promise you that you will find mostly wonderful folks who give great advice and as for the few others, they are entertaining as long as you do not take them seriously. :lmao:

I do not like sports except for when my grandson is playing but even I will be glued to the set for this one.

Yes, my mom and I were planning on the first week of January 2011 to coincide with the last week of my winter break. We figure that will make it easier to avoid huge crowds and heat (as we're oddballs that like it nice and chilly in the 50s and 60s). :woohoo:
