So, I'm searching for the perfect veil. My mom and I decided against using hers b/c she doesn't know how it will turn out and doesn't want it to not be right-or fall apart-or disintegrate. So, I've found a couple of places that are reasonable. Even for one with beads around the edges.

But now here is my major dilema...one tier or two??? What did you choose and why???

I choose to get a two tier because it looked fuller and best with my dress. It depends on the dress and what you like really.

I haven't really decided yet but I like the one tier, I don't plan to wear a blusher over my face and don't really want it to be very full.

I really like the beaded edge ones too! Where are you thinking of ordering it from? I still need to find something I like but I keep procrastinating because they are so expensive.

The fuller explanation helps! Thanks.

I have looked at veilshop.com and weddingveil.com (I think the second one is right)

Which do you think will look better on you and which will look better with your dress? Sorry I might not be more help, I'm doing away with a veil(just cuz it's not me). Ithink if you want fullness go with 2 or if you want it less full go with one. Also keep in mind formality of your Wedding. HTH.

While the wedding is semi-formal...formal (all at GF at this point)..I feel like with my hair, tiara, and dress 2 tiers might be too much.:confused3
I think I only tried on one tier at the dress shop.

Because I am going for a tiara and pretty full hair and my dress is pretty elaborate, I am wearing a 1 tiered veil pinned under my hair for simplicity sake.

I got mine on ebay for a great deal (it looks exactly like the one I treid at the bridal shop)...it's beaded around the edge and has small crystal sparkles scattered on it...pics to come when it arrives!!

Love that tiara. My DH niece wore that one for her wedding 8 years ago and offered to let me use it. I brought it down to my hair trial and really liked it but I felt it did not match my dress - I had no pearls and alot of crystals on my dress. I do know some have said it is hard to put that one on due to the hinges but my hair person had no trouble.

As far as veils go - I went with 1-tier. I liked the way it hung better down the side and did not look as puffy. Alot will also have to do with how you are wearing your hair. If you are wearing it in a bun and want the veil to come out from the bottom - definately get 1-tier.
