Discounts on camp sites 3/30/10

DW just found a code (TD7) for (15%) off campsite only it saved us 150.00 Disney Dollars on our june Trip:banana::woohoo::cheer2:Disney will still get the Dollars but it will be on our stay in December not the one in June.

I just called and used that booking code (TD7, from the Disney website) and saved $260 for our trip in July! We had a reservation for a Preferred campsite for 18 days. Had to split into two reservations (max 14 days), but they are linked, so we should't have to move.

Just got off the phone with reservations to see if they could apply the code to my May 22 trip (campsite only) & upon checking I was told it applied only to a vacation package.

Either the reservation person did not know what she was talking about (which is very likely if you know what I mean), or they modified the pin code use.

I may try again another day with another reservation person.

That may be the one code they used on our ressies and it reduced us from a premium site down to a preferred site and didn't end up saving us much money so we just went back to our original reservations.

We had a campsite-only reservation and the code was good for us. We did not need to buy a package and saved 15%.

This is the OP Dw I was able to use the same code for our first ressi which was a package, and our next resi which was campsite only. However I did have to add 2 days to the campsite only resi in order for the discount to open up. from 5 days to 7. I am going to try to cancel those extra days and see if I can keep the discount. On Disney's website it says the code is room only but they applied it our package.

Amazing! I can't believe they actually offered a discount on the campsites.

We made a reservation for a campsite this summer about two months ago then changed it to one of the resorts because there was such a good promotion being offered and we could save a lot.

This morning I called to ask about this promotion and found we'll save even more by switching back to FW, which was what we really wanted in the first place! :thumbsup2 For once the Disney gods are smiling on campers!

Rog...why don't you just re-book? There are all types of sites available online, so call & rebook with the discount, add a couple of nights & stay to party with us longer!

Everyone that used this code check your resevations! I was messing around on the disney site and noticed that my reservations were for a pop up/ tent partial hookup. When before they were for a preffered full hookup. So I called Disney and they said that the code was only for the tent/partial sites and luckily there still was preferred available for my dates. The operator put that code in and never told me it would switch my reservation on me. Thought I would warn everyone before they get a suprise when they go to check in.

This is the same code we used for our 15% discount on our campsite only (no package) for our trip to Fort Wilderness in May! The CM was happy to apply the discount to our reservation.
