I need to share my good news - - my social security disability has been approved!! :cool1:
The service I used (which was recommended to me by people on this board) just called to verify my banking information so the direct deposit will go through and I should have my first money by the end of the week. And I am getting a lump sum also. This is so great. I have not been able to work since April of 2008 and was down to under $2000 in savings that I have been living on since then. Once the money is really in the bank, I am going to the store and buy a steak because I am really tired of eating pasta and beans. Although I have also lost a few pounds. :confused3 My new income will still keep me below the poverty level but I have learned to live so frugally that it will seem like I am rolling in dough.:dance3:
