When the wind blows from the north, south or west around here, it's fine but when it blows from the east, we get the lovely fumes of the pig farm a few miles away.....ewwww!!:p
Can you tell which way the wind is blowing due to odors, good or bad???:D

Yep, I can tell when the General Mills factory is making Coco Puffs if the wind is blowing in the right direction.:) Makes me hungry.

No, I can't tell the direction of the wind from the "aroma". In the spring I spell lot's of manure, but there are farms in all 4 directions so who knows who's farm I'm smelling :)

Oh, you bet I can!:p
We live across the road from a dairy farm. Most days the wind is blowing the "right" way, but when it's blowing the "wrong" way.......let's just say we don't open the windows those days. ;)

No. When I was a child I used to think I could smell when it was getting cold, but then my mom pointed out that the people across the street had a wood-burning heater. :D

In Montgomery, AL, it's so obvious when the winds comes from the north. There's a paper mill north of town and it stinks like nasty farts!

Ewwww... LOL... Well we have a large smokestack that stretches like a mile into the sky... for the mine here... But it's so high it just blows somewhere else. LOL.
