Hi! I'm new to this section. I was wondering if there was a thread on creative WDW piggy banks?
My best friend wants to take her 2 little princesses to WDW next year and I wanted to do a little craft with them to help save their money for the trip. The plan is that we tell the girls when the banks are full, we will all go to Disney.
Can anyone help us out? TIA!!!

the first year -- we took a baby formula can --- covered it with paper and wrote "money for mickey" on the outside -- my son was 3 at the time so we used disney stickers and he decorated the can himself.
This past year we bought one of the coin jars that counts the money and keeps a total when you add change to it -- also put "money for mickey" on the outside and used disney scrapbooking paper and stickers to jazz it up a bit --- the kids were finding LOTs of spare change to put in there. I think they had about $300.00 in there

I don't have a photo, but I take a one gallon Poland Spring Water jug (Not the water bottle, but the kind similiar to what goes on a water cooler). Spray paint it pink. Spray paint the cover black, for the nose. add "googly eyes" and hot glue a pipe cleaner for the tail and foam board for the ears.

We did this one year as a fundraiser for my ds pre-school and it was a big hit
