I have scoured the pages in here a dozen times, and I have to say this is the most helpful place for Disney Weddings (especially paired with Carrie's book). I gone through so many posts and PJs, please forgive me if this has been covered already.

I won't be getting married until January 2013 (I haven't even gotten the ring yet, but it WILL be a Disney Wishes wedding), but I wanted to ask a few questions about bringing my own floral before I spend the money for DIY supplies.

Since it's so far off, calling Disney isn't likely going to help me much. So, I figured, who better to ask than a great bunch of ladies and gents who have (probably) done it.

I’ll be making my own bouquets, boutonnière, corsages, and centerpieces. I know personal floral is OK to be brought in. My questions are really with centerpieces.

I would like to make my own centerpieces for the reception (one for each of the three tables) and a slightly bigger one for our sweetheart table. Can I use the one for our sweetheart table as the altar decoration? Will they move it to White Hall for me? Will they set up my three other centerpieces? What fees are involved?

Thanks!

Edit: We are looking to use the WP and White Hall. I realized I forgot to mention the locations. =]

I had heard this was the case, but I also saw in a few PJs that Disney was doing it for a fee. I was hoping to not have to ask a guest since it's just family.

Thanks, though. :)

The reception centerpieces wouldn't bother me so much since they'll all be over there before me anyway.

Does Disney allow you to bring your own altar flowers and sand/unity set?

Yes they do.

One thing to keep in mind though is with all the changes DFTW has brought in in the past couple of years, I wouldn't be suprised if there's a change in their floral policy one day.

Don't mean to rain on your parade or anything, but it's something that I'd want to think about if it were me.

Thank you. I'm hoping they don't change it back to requiring their flowers only. Making my own is saving me tons since I'm super picky and want roses. :)
