I just wanted to introduce Christine, a friend of mine who recently joined the DIS. I've told her a lot about the podcast and boards and am so glad she's joining us!

ROFL She actually is in the social worker field anyway. Besides, she knows me in real life and can attest to the fact that I am shy. :)

Hi everyone! Nikki you are a doll. I can't wait start getting to know everyone through the boards and possibly in person. I don't have a lot of dirt on Nikki, but she is shy sometimes. Yes my insurance covers crisis counseling. As Nikki said I am a social worker and I deal with crises on a daily basis so I'm sure anything you tell me about Nikki I can handle. LOL.

I wouldn't use the word complain as much as I would say expressing her opinion until she is heard. That is not always a negative thing. LOL.

Thanks again everyone for the continuation of warm welcomes. Stop picking on Nikki she is just as crazy as the rest of us :rotfl:

She was nice enough to introduce me to the boards and possibly broke the ice for me to email or call the podcast so I can get a chance to get a tshirt. Haha.

Thanks everyone. I wouldn't call it crisis counseling, but I am trained in it. Been a social worker for about 4 years and used to work with homeless single mothers. Now I am a counselor/intern for a substance abuse agency. Going for my masters in social work and after that getting my post graduate degree in play therapy.

I know it's OT, but thought I'd share so you guys get to know me a little better.
