What happened to my tickers?

They were working fine last week now they don't work. I went back and made new ones but they don't work either. I used http://www.********************/timers/ is there a better site to use? Thanks!

There doesn't seem to be a problem with any of the other sites, and I think that your ticker site it trying to clean things up and increase their security to prevent this from happening again.

You can click on anyone's ticker to go to another site. The DIS also went ahead and rolled out their own tickers earlier they had intended, in response to this, so you can find the initial offerings here: http://www.distickers.com/ticker/main.php

Our wonderful Dis now has tickers! You should be able to find a safe one here. Hope that helps!

I ended up with a virus this week. Don't know if it was the ticker or not.

I think that the issue had more to do with Malware than with viruses but I am not really sure, and I don't understand a lot of it.

Always, always, always make sure you are surfing safe by having a strong anti-virus program that updates daily. I have been very lucky and have never had any viruses. But I think I have had the Malware stuff.

I had the same problem. I just made this ticker at a new site, I hope its safe. It is working now, as I post this.

Had the same problem and noticed others were the same, so I figured it was the ticker sites problem. I made another ticker on a different site and all is well.

Signature/Ticker Testing needs to be posted on our Test Board, found at the bottom of the main forum page in the Technical Support Forum.

Since the original question has been answered and people are now just testing their tickers I am closing this thread.
