Several of you have mentioned bringing sunscreen wipes into the parks to use to re-apply sunscreen during the day. I have been looking, but have been unable to find any. Where do you get them? Thanks!

Last May I decided to do carry on luggage only, so looked for the sunscreen wipes. The only place I found them was on ebay.

You know I tried them last year and didnt think they were very good..it was like they didn't put enough sunscreen on my baby, he was red after an hour or so so I re applied and he was still getting redder. The next day I just went out and bought the spray on kind for him and it worked great. Im just a bit wary of them now..just my personal experience..maybe you guys like them..if you use them just keep an eye on the kid/s your putting them on..:thumbsup2

I have been wanting some of these to keep in our convertible. I just find them so expensive! I have never been able to justify the cost...I mean, look at those on babies r us...8 bucks for 6 wipes? I'd rather carry around a spray bottle (not the aerosol, just the regular spray that doesn't get nasty with heat). Am I the only one?

I used those wipes when I got some for free with another purchase last year. I thought they were more hassle than a small bottle of sunscreen. Messy and difficult to apply and goopy. Now we've been using the aerosol this year and it has been awesome. I am thinking we will order some to be included with our Garden Grocer order for our Disney trip and get the convenience of not carrying sunscreen onboard and still have the good stuff for the parks.

There is a brand of Sunscreen wipes called Shady Day. They are wonderful! They carry individually packaged wipes as well a pillow packs (which are like small versions of baby wipes packs).
They smell nice, the towelette is soft and there is enough sunscreen for 2 kids on each towelette. There are no funky ingredients. I've used these the past few years. They travel well and are great to have so you're not spraying everyone around you.

I think they're great. Compared to other brands with very thin towels, these are really nice and thick.

I haven't used the sunguard wipes, but I used to get the Nemo sunscreen wipes they don't make them anymore.I'm glad to hear that wipes are good.My kids hate the feeling of having something sprayed at them so this sounds like the perfect solution.

I've never used the sunscreen wipes, but just as a suggestion, bring a bottle of vitamin E oil with you. If you DO get burned, spread this on before going to bed (not a WHOLE lot, it's super oily). It takes the sting right out, and when you wake up the next morning, your skin should be just a little pink, with zero pain. Also helps with peeling!

I also like the Shady Day wipes. Plenty of lotion in them.

I got some on Amazon last year before my trip. It was great to just carry a few of these into the park with me each day to re-apply after lunch. My kids didn't mind them, and didn't get burned.
They are made by SunX. The expiration date on the pack I got allows me to keep them until this year's trip! Certainly not something I would use daily at home, but when you overpack your park bag every day (;)) these little wipes help.

I agree! I am very very fair and carry these into the parks with me all the time to continually reapply sunscreen.
