Is the water heated at Disney's Water Parks?

A. The water at all of our Water Parks is temperature controlled year-round, so it's tropically toasty, even on cooler days!

that is straight from the Disney website. HTH!

I think toasty is a bit of an overstatement. I have been to the water parks many times during the cooler months and yes the water is heated but it is not as warm as a typical heated hotel pool. The posted water temps during the cooler months were typically 72-74 degrees for the wave pool. The catch pools for the water slides felt warmer.

Yes, the Typhoon Lagoon water is heated. (I work there) Our wave pool, Lazy River and slide water temps are about 78-82 degrees right now and the kiddie area is around 83-84 degrees. The only water that you might deem cool is the water in the Shark Reef which is about 68-72 degrees-it's salt water and kept cooler for the fish that live there.

Hope you enjoy your visit! We're looking forward to a great weather week!
