We've stayed there in 2007, 2008, and were thrilled to get a good enough deal to return for 2 wks this fall. It is a wonderful resort, and the location is just great. We've also been in Windsor Palms, which is also very nice, but WH is definitely our favourite!

I can't say enough good about our experiences there, and would be happy to answer any specific questions, and share rental advice, by PM or post.

We stayed there 2 years ago. Its a fabulous location, with a wonderful pool. We stayed in a lovely 3 bedroom condo. My only complaint was that there were ants in our condo, in the kitchen. This was not the case in the other 3 condos that were rented by other family members, just our luck. We went through a CAA recommended site - I can't remember the name right now.

We're planning on staying there in May 2011. We'll likely be staying with RomancingTheMouse.com as they own and manage their own properties. They have four pool houses in Windsor Hills. I much prefer staying someplace that is actually taken care of by the people that own the property rather than a management company. Just my $0.02.

We stayed there at our last WDW trip (greatdisneyvacation.com-it's one of the back buildings so a little farther from the pool but super clean) and we loved it. Friends of ours are just back, stayed in a different condo and also loved it.

As far as I'm concerned, after Windsor HIlls, I'll never stay in a hotel at Disney again!!!

The idea of actually sleeping in a different room than my kids is quite appealing. Personally, I don't like to go to bed at 8 p.m. Going for a swim in my own personal pool after they're in bed is a nice idea!!!

I have stayed in windsor hills before as well, its a beautiful resort but we found it a bit overpriced compared to other gated communities. For the same price as a windsor hills condo, we were getting quotes for 3/4 bedroom pool homes so I would suggest you keep your options open. There were 2 other gated communities in the area that we stayed at - Wyndsor Palms and Emerald Island. Both are very nice resorts.
