My title says it all. I'm creative, new to this forum, and feel very challenged by the computer graphics ins & outs. I'm trying to read everything on this forum to help me, including Penny's FAQ threads. Dolly was very sweet and answered my questions last week.
I'm still a little puzzled, though about correctly saving a graphic onto my computer. I want to make sure I'm correctly saving the picture/graphic I get from someone's 4 shared site to take to MS word to personalize wording on my own.
1. Do I go to the shared file, click on the image a couple of times to bring it to its actual size, click save as picture, then go into my picture file and copy and paste it into MS word to add a text box?
2. What is the benefit of saving it to a picture file first and then copying and pasting it into MS word vs. just copying and pasting it straight to MS word first?
Now if I request a design from a DISigner and they post it on their thread do I follow the same steps as above (click on image, paste to pictures, copy to MS word to print t-shirt transfer or candy box)?

I feel like I an idiot asking such a simple question, but I so badly want to create some of these great projects. THANKS A MILLION!!!!!!! :)

I applaud you that you are creative and you are asking questions...I just ask for the design as I have NO creative bone in my body....I know you will get all the help you will need on here. These designers are the greatest and most helpful people I know...enjoy your new addiction:)

Thanks for your kinds words. I am creative, but this forum takes creative to a whole other level. It's the computer aspect that's throwing me off. I've not used the photo/graphics element of it before, so it's all new to me. It's just those two last questions (at least only two for today :goodvibes) I had that I was still uncertain about. I felt silly asking, but I want to get it right. And you're right...these designers are FABULOUS--very helpful and generous w/ their time!
