My nephew who works at Disney just posted this on his facebook
"can't wait for the Theme Park industry to change forever on June 18th..."

Does anyone know what he is referring too?

I asked him but he has not replied yet. :confused3

Yep....though there will most likely be a soft opening in the weeks leading up to the grand opening.

Harry Potter sounds cool but hardly something to change the face of theme parks forever. Just another themed land based on popular literature and movies.

This. I am a huge HP fan, but I wouldn't consider the theme park anything special. Unfortunately there is already a huge bias, as nothing will ever live up to a Disney park for me. But even so, nothin' special.

I'm waiting for the mail from Universal telling me about Passholder Previews. Me too...A friend who works there is telling me they are planning something after hours for Passholders. I hope it's true! :teeth:

The Mainstreet Electrical Parade is returning to WDW in June, and they are having a new nighttime spectacular at the MK. Both of those are due to start in June iirc.

No way! This excites me. I was just thinking about the Mainstreet Electrical Parade the other day. Ahhh the memories.
