park opening time changed to 9:30

We leave for DLP first thing tomorrow morning! :banana::banana::banana:

I just checked the calendar and see that they have changed the opening time from 10:00 to 9:30 on Saturday and Sunday. :headache: I'm guessing that EMH still starts at 8:00? And we just miss out on 30 minutes of less-crowded time? Or will they let us in at 7:30 for EMH?

I'm also worried that this means they're expecting it to be really busy! :scared1: Well, there's nothing we can do about that now. It will still be a great trip, right? :thumbsup2

DLP officially opened at 9.30 last weekend and WDS at 10.00 - EMH started at 8.00

At DLP, they let non EMH people in before 9.30 and they queue at ropes to Discoveryland and Fantasyland

At Frontierland you all end up queuing together -the quickest run for BTM is down the passageway at the end of the arcade (next to the Winnie the Pooh stage). One day it was unmanned so we jumped the rope as soon as the opening music started = result second in queue for BTM opening

WDS opened about 9.30 last saturday and we had been on Crushs coaster by 9.45am (we queued outside the gates from about 9.20) However when we got off there was a massive queue.

It was very busy on Saturday night - we returned to the park at 6pm and didn't manage to ride anything - all FP's had gone and all the rides we wanted had at least 30/40 minute queues.

Then large amounts of rain so went back to the Marriott to watch the rugby.

I'm sure you'll still have a great time.

It's the Press Event for the New Generation Festival on Saturday I guess that will have something to do with the change in park times.

we came back last sun evening and yes the park did open at 930am not sure about the emh as we did not use them which was bit silly really as the park was VERY busy all last weekend

have a fab time!!
