in July we stayed at the Park Vue Inn. Right across from the main gate, and next to an IHOP. Perfect location. The rooms are basic, but nice. Mini fridge and microwave. We had a room with a king, and lots of space. Don't expect much from the cont. breakfast, but you can pick up a piece of fruit for later.
Have fun!

rcyannacci - thanks for that. I'll tell them to look into the Park Vue.
daannzzzz - I think they would be looking at approx $60 - $70 per night.
Thanks

There are lots of places around that price that are located right next to Disneyland. Have them check Expedia, Travelocity, Orbitz, travelweb and Travelhero. Good places to stay with in a 5 minute walk are (that are also in that price range sometimes)...
Howard Johnson Plaza
Fairfield Inn
Park Inn
BW Park Place Inn
Carousel Inn
Tropicana
BW Anaheim Inn
Best Inn
Park Vue
Ramada Saga
Anaheim Plaza
Castle Inn
These are all on Harbor Blvd. My Favorites out of those are Howard Johnson Park Inn and Tropicana. Have them Check Candycaneinn.net. This place is great but is a hair to high. Sometimes there are deals though.

In that price range, I've stayed at Carousel Inn and Howard Johnson's. I've also heard good things about Desert Inn and Suites.
Carousel is closer, but my personal favorite is Howard Johnson's. HoJo's is still walking distance, and they also have a trolley. I like the atmosphere, it's clean, and they have interior hallways, so it's more like a hotel, whereas a lot of the other ones are like motels with exterior hallways. HoJo also has lots of parking if that's a factor.

Ooopss. I forgot the Desert Inn and Suites. We stayed there in 1994 and liked it. I don't know if they have kept the rooms up or not. I still like HOJO and Candy Cane best....so far! ;)
