I'm not sure how many of you listen to the DISUnplugged or read their blogs so thought I'd bring this to your attention.

Here's a link to it Who Wants To Open a Theme Park? Disneyland Paris Style (http://www.disunplugged.com/2010/03/24/who-wants-to-open-a-theme-park-disneyland-paris-style/)

It's an interesting article. :goodvibes

I have vivid memories of sitting at home watching the opening of Disneyland Paris on TV ~ it was my Dad's birthday and he and my Mum had come round for a birthday meal ~ and we were all very excited as our first baby (and their first grandchild) was due exactly one month later. She has turned out to be the biggest Disney fan in our family after me, of course ;) so I think the Disney magic really worked that night! pixiedust:

Just a shame that it was another 13 years before we visited ~ I am very envious of people who have been going there since the beginning.

I was there on Opening Day - it was absolute chaos but great fun! All the hotels had been full of Disney executives, lawyers etc the night before so there was even a line at check-in when we arrived about 6am :rotfl:

I wish we'd gone earlier too, it's my only regret that I allowed my OH to keep putting off a trip until the children were old enough. Now he thinks we're all far too old, but I've learnt to ignore him. lol
Thanks for the link Elaine. :)
