discount for CM's?

Is there a discount given to CM's on purchase price? I ask because
my son is going to be applying for a CM position.

Yes. When we joined they were offering a 15% discount to cast members. It really made a difference.

We added on 200 OKW points in May 2001 when DW was a TDC CM. The 15% off brought the point price down almost to what we originally paid in 1992 :cool:

DW also had free admission to the four parks while she was a CM.

Yes, I believe it does. My friend is a CM at a Disney Store and in the past he as shown his ID at the entrance to the parks. Disney changes their policies all the time, so I would check with someone to make sure she can still use her ID for admittance.

Many weeks she worked only one 6-hour shift, and rarely worked more than 12 hours per week. As long as you're "part time" and not "seasonal" (I don't recall Disney's word for that), everyone gets the same bennies.
