How do you change your user name

Hi, When I first joined a few years ago to go to Disneyland, I did not realize I needed to have a user name and not my own name. I'm planning a trip now to DW and I wanted to change my user name. How do you do that. Also, how to you add those countdown banners. Thanks.

It is a good idea to never use your real name online. Here there is no way to change your username on an account. You will need to just register a new account. If you have your email address attached to this current account change it to another you may have (or even a fake email address) and then you can clear your cookies and register the new account. This account will just fade into oblivion because it will never be used again.

Thanks for the info about the user name, but I still can't figure out how to use the banner after reading FAQ. I'll have to ask my husband. Are they considered attachments?

For the countdown banners, click on one you like from someone else's post. (A couple of popular ones are http://www.myvacationcountdown.com and www.********************/timers (http://www.********************/timers)) Follow the directions on the site for making the countdown. Then go to User CP and select Edit Signature. From the countdown site, select the code labeled BBCode or UBBCode, then copy and paste in the signature box.

I don't know what happened to the second link, so I'll just say that the other site is www. magicalkingdoms .com (remove the spaces), and you can just do a copy/paste in your browser.

OK, I just saw another thread that says that there's been some issues with Magical Kingdom tickers and that DISboards is currently blocking tickers from them, so you shouldn't use them right now.
