Oooo that's interesting, we are going at a similar time this year, 16-21 june which includes the full weekend but hopefully, if it's quieter on the first few days , we should, (hopefully) get most things done. :goodvibes

It was tue-sat, we left sat lunch time. Sat was busier though we did get everything we wanted done. We found it alot quiter than jan though that was prob down to the fact we had snow in jan and it was -6 so everyone was taking repite in the shops/restraunts so it seemed alot busier. In june we didnt que more than 10min except for crush which we qued around 30min i think. We fastpassed bth as the ques were around 45min for that. RnR was walk on. All the weather was perfect around 25c each day.

Middle of January and late September....never had to wait more than 5 minutes for 98% of the rides.

Went towards the end of March in 2006 for 5 nights including a weekend and it was quiet but noticeably busier on the Friday evening to the Sunday evening.
Went Jan 12th Mon to Sat last year and it was lovely and quiet, hardly any queues. Just very very cold:rotfl:
Also went 27th Sept last year for 2 nights (Mon to Weds) and I thought it was busy, it seemed really crowded, main thing I noticed was the depth of the crowds waiting for the parade compared to in Jan - and there seemed to be a lot of english school kids on school trips as well.

Mid Jan this year and 1st week of October 2004 were the quietest times we've had in the park. :)

In 09 we went 5th-8th January to see the end of the Christmas decos not a weekend and it was very quite.

both early September (2008) and early October (2009) were very quiet when we were there. Hardly any queues. I think because most people have had their big holidays in the summer and the kids have just gone back to school in September.

is there still much of an atmosphere there in september?

I would say yes, there is an atmosphere in September...The quietest time I ever went was in January 2005, I think it was the 7th-10th we went, at that time Magic Unlimited was running, so basically you could go on the top rides again and again without having to queue - good incentive, but there were no queues anyway!! My friend and I went on Rock n Roller SIX times in the space of half an hour. It still had an atmosphere, but was really wet and cold....still, 20quid return flights and 100 pounds each for 3 nights in Santa Fe for four plus no queues made it worth our while, especially as we were students with the whole of the month off! It's a lovely thing to look forward to after Christmas too :)

We went late Sept last year and it was nice & quiet but also warm & sunny - also, they started putting out the Halloween decs while we were there! :thumbsup2 Each day there would be a few more - it's amazing what they do when you're asleep! :rotfl:

My vote is for Mid Sept, best if you can manage a few days off the weekend as it always gets busier on Sat and Sun.
About the atmosphere, nothing special was going on - no night parade, no special opening - but they were getting ready for Halloween and we could enjoy some of it.

Went for the first 3 days in December and everything was a 10 minute or less wait (except Crush which was 20 minutes). Plus all the lovely Xmas theming. Magical :goodvibes
