I've always thought our summers here were worse than Florida, because if I were in Florida, I'd be in Disney at least! This humidity is horrible!!:confused:

I said to several people at work this week that you KNOW the weather is weird when people from up North come down HERE to cool down during the summer!

A coworker thinks Im crazy for going to Disney during the summer. I told her it will probably be cooler there than lots of other places around the nation. Im used to heat. I live in South Florida and we dont have A/C.

AACCKKK!:eek: How can you NOT have A/C in FLORIDA???:confused: I remember my first experience with A/C. my Mom bought a Window Air conditioner in................1967!! We livied in a wood frame house, and Mom set it up in the "living Room." Ahhhhhh........coool;) My DH has our central unit set at: 62 degrees, EVEN in WINTER!:rolleyes:

Did n't have A/C until a few years ago. DH is talking about putting in central this winter.

it has been in the mid-high 90's for a month! Kind of unbearable. With the humidex factor, it's in the high 90's low 100's! Our grass is a lovely shade of brown! I'm not wishing for snow..but October will be welcomed here!:D

Poohbear 123 we have never had A/C even when I was growing up. We have always used fans. We are just used to being warm. Now at work it does get to me when it gets warm....if the A/C is set at a warmer temp because there is no air flow.

I dunno how yall survive w/o AC!!

we have 2 of them in our house and they are on all year around! (except for like 15 days when it's cool enough to just have the window open...and about 10 when we use the heater! lol)

It's HOT HOT HOt here in Boston. I ust mentioned to my son is it almost as hot as Florida except we aren't walking so it doesnt feel as bad.:D
