For those of you that carry the VB hipster (not the mini) to the parks...is it big enough to fit a dslr camera in it?!
I bought the baggalini hipster but am not happy that you have to carry it to the left....I prefer the bag part to be to the right!
Thanks peeps! :flower3:

While I don't have DSLR I think it would fit. You may think about it being too heavy though? I don't know what those things weigh. I just bought one and its alot bigger than I anticipated (which is great cause I was wondering what I would have to leave out!) but since its completely fabric I think if you put too much weight it may be a little heavy and awkward.

Which DSLR do you have, and what lens are you planning to put on it? The size is going to vary depending on that.

I don't have a Hipster, but I do have a Overland Equipment Donner bag. I was able to put my Sony A350 (kit lens attached) in that bag. It didn't leave a lot of room for other things in the bag, but it did fit. Remember that your camera isn't going to be padded/protected at all in a regular purse, so this isn't something you want to carry on a ride where it might get bumped.

My Canon Xti fits in my hipster but I can't carry extra lenses with it. If you don't want to carry an actual camera bag, I have used my Baggallini for years for my DSLR and can fit two additional lenses in there.

My Nikon D60 will fit in my hipster but not much else can go in there. Last summer on a Sea World trip I wore my D60 around my neck all day and carried my other lens in the hipster. Bad idea. Made my bag heavy and me miserable in the heat. I could do it without the extra lens. For Disney this year I have a Lowepro slingshot 100. That way my husband can carry it too!
