Transportation from Disney to Universal ?

I am interested in knowing how we would go about getting to Universal for a day. We are staying on-site at Disney, and will have no transportation of our own. Any suggestions would be welcome . Thanks !

you can have your resort call you a taxi or use a towncar service for bout 40-50 dollars. (much better value imo) Mears can be used also. I would use tiffany or ********. I've only used Tiffany and they were great!! never used ******** although i am tempted to this trip.

We used ******** last November. They were great! Rabbit took us and picked us up when we were ready to come back.

We even managed to surprise the kids. Told them we were going to AK for the day. Walked out of AKL and there was Rabbit with a sign with our name on it!

We use Mears every year. We just call a 1-800 number the night before we're going to Universal and they set up a time for pick-up. They're VERY prompt, so don't be a minute late! The cost is very cheap, something like $12 roundtrip for one adult.

We also used Mears. It was great. Just remember , you need to call them 2 hrs before pickup for your return to your hotel:p

We used ********, but it was to Discovery Cove for the day. The pickup time was arranged with the reservation. It is a nicer way to go if you want to pay a little more. Three or more people make it cheaper Mears.
