I'm afraid I can't recommend it. It has a great plot and a wonderful message. The problem is that it is waaaay too long. In the name of setting the mood, this movie drags from one long boring visual to the next. Even the dialog is slow paced and seems to go on forever long after the point has been made.
With a little editing, this could have been a great movie. In its current form, its just to long and dull to make the great scenes worthwhile.

Wow, I was on the edge of my seat for the entire movie. It's very subtle, but that's what I like about it. My boyfriend's father saw it this afternoon and he pretty much agreed with you. He would have enjoyed a bit more "action".

It wasn't so much a lack of action. This is not an action movie. It was more the lack of anything happening at all for such long spans of the film. I would think it was a guy thing, but my wife was bored to.

WDWHound, my DH agrees with you.
I really, really liked it!

I think it was because the director was trying to get the actor's fears and emotions across in a subtle way, without being right up in your face about it.
